Create a Tesla Account
If you have not already signed up for a Tesla account – Do it right now. A Tesla account is required to remotely monitor your vehicle and also sign up for the various Tesla management apps. Tesla’s account lets you access Voice Assistant and Smart Automation controls on your Vehicle through Third-party platform support.
You can create an account either before ordering or after ordering. To manually create an account before, follow the steps here ;
- Use the browser and Visit Create Account on Tesla.
- Enter your Name and other required information.
- Tap on Next and Complete the Process. Finally, Click on Create account to finish.

Add Tesla to Google Home via IFTTT

- To add your vehicle on the Tessie app- Tap Settings > Connectivity >Sync.
Activate Tessie on IFTTT
- Once done, Create your voice commands and activate Tessie for Google Assistant.
- Open the IFTTT App or visit the website.
- On If This. Choose Google Assistant and activate a scene.
- Enter the Phrase and save. You can customize it as you want.
- Click on Then That >Webhooks>Make a Web Request.
- Enter the URL Command from your Tessie access token API.
- On VIN, Enter your Vehicle’s VIN and On TOKEN, Type your developer-generated token.
- Tap on GET and Create action >Continue > Finish.
Use Phrase depending on the action you want on your Tesla. You can create your own voice phrases such as climate, get the car ready, open the door, start charging, etc. You can also import TeslaFi data to Tessie.
TeslaFi to Add Tesla to Google Home
