Initial Set up – MyPlace to Google Home

  • Firstly, Set up your MyPlace device and Install the MyPlace app by Advantage Air on your smartphone. Available on Google Play and Apple App stores.
  • Make sure that the MyPlace App is Installed on your device and is updated to its Latest Version.

  • Login or Sign up on the App and Verify your account.
  • Now, Start Adding your devices to the Smart Control Platform.
  • Go to Set up > Add device > Choose the type of device you want to add.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions and connect your device.

Enable Smart Khaya for MyPlace to Google Home

  • Open the MyPlace app and Navigate to the Setup > Options.

  • Scroll down and Click on Google Home/Amazon Alexa.
  • Turn ON the toggle to enable Smart Khaya on the MyPlace paired devices.

Connect Google Home Devices to Google Home App

Set up your Google Home /Google Assistant-enabled device and connect it to the Google Home App.

  • A Compatible Google Nest /Home Speaker or Display.
  • Google Home App.
  • Google Account.
  • Android or iOS Smartphone.

  • You will now be prompted to Link your Google Account to Smart Khaya – Say YES.
  • Wait for some time and your accounts will be linked.
  • If prompted to the Smart Khaya Account Linking Setup Webpage – Enter your credentials.
  • Open the MyPlace app and Navigate to Set up.
  • Choose Options and Enable Google Home and Select Paired Accounts.

How to connect MyPlace to the Google Home

  • Enter your Google account details and Press Add, and You will now land on the Account Linking Page.
  • Tap on the Generate Button to get the 4-digit Access Code.
  • Insert the Access Code and Click Pair on the Smart Khaya Account Linking Setup Page.

Once your MyPlace to Google Home is linked, You can start initiating your commands.

How to connect MyPlace to the Google Home App?

Finally, When everything is done right. You are all set to Add MyPlace to Google Home. Integrate and Automate your Smart Home devices via the Google Home app.

  • Install the Google Home app on your SmartPhone.

  • Start with ” OK GOOGLE” or “HEY GOOGLE” and Initiate by saying – “ASK /GET /TELL SMART KHAYA” – Followed by your command.
  • Turn ON the AirCon.
  • Turn OFF the AirCon.
  • Run MyWelcome, Run MyGoodbye.
  • Turn on /off the lights.
  • Adjust the Light Brightness.
  • Remove the Link between Smart Khaya and Google Home.
