How to connect Cync to Google Home?
Since It is directly compatible, There are two ways you can set up your Cync devices and connect to Google Home. Note that you can use the same method to connect any Cync Smart Product.
- Seamless Setup.

Before you get into the Integration, Make sure to set up a compatible speaker or display – Google Nest / Home / Mini to enable Voice controls and remote automation. Also, Set up and connect your Cync devices to the Cync app.
Set up Cync devices on the Cync App
- Install and Open the Cync app.
- Sign up and Create your account.
- Tap on Add devices and Choose the device type that you want to connect.

How to connect Cync Light Hub to Google Home?
The GE C Reach Smart Bridge can be used to automate your devices with your voice and control even when you are away from home. This Smart bridge allows you to use your Voice with Bulbs and lights to expand automation on Lighting and dimming. You can connect the Cync Light bulb to Google Home with or without a bridge and control the lights on your SmartPhones and Tablets.
You will need :
- C by GE App and WIFI Source of at least 2.4 GHz is required.
Steps to connect C Reach to Google Home ;
- Plug the C Reach bridge in the same location as your WIFI.
- Open the C by GE App > Tap on the + icon> Add New Devices > C Reach and follow the further steps.
- Make sure that you add your Cync devices to the same location as the C Reach bridge on the Cync app to control remotely.
- To Enable Google Voice Assistant – On the App > Go to Settings > Choose Voice Assistant> Choose Google and enable it.
- Say Hey Google and your command to proceed.
NOTE: Due to the End of Support, C Reach may not be available and be connected for new users. If you already have it functioning, you can continue to use it. Anyways, NO HUB IS NEEDED TO CONNECT CYNC TO GOOGLE HOME.
